About This Guide

This publication provides the information needed to prepare your site for the installation of your Cisco product. To prepare the site, you should be familiar with electronic circuitry and wiring practices and have experience as an electronic or electromechanical technician.

For detailed information on your Cisco product, refer to the appropriate installation or user guide.

Organization

This guide is divided into three major sections:

• "Site Preparation" provides the general site preparation considerations with regard to environmental considerations and distance limitations for specific interfaces.

• "System Specifications" provides the specifications for your Cisco product, such as power requirements, size, and supported interfaces.

• "Site Preparation Checklist" is to be completed and faxed back to Cisco systems after the site preparations are completed and verified.
