Document Objectives

This guide contains procedures for planning, installing, and configuring the CiscoWorks network management software; setting up the CiscoWorks environment for your system; and preparing to use CiscoWorks. It also includes information on using CiscoWorks on the NetView for AIX platform and troubleshooting guidelines.

For detailed information on using the CiscoWorks applications, refer to the CiscoWorks User Guide and the CiscoWorks Release Note.

Audience

The CiscoWorks Administration and Installation Guide on NetView for AIX is designed for the Cisco Systems user responsible for installing, configuring, and verifying CiscoWorks software.
