About This Catalog

This catalog describes the internetworking products currently offered by Cisco Systems for enterprise networks. Cisco Systems also offers a variety of products through CiscoPro resellers that feature tailored internetworking solutions for small- and medium-sized businesses. These products are available through two-tier distributors and their resellers, and are described in a separate catalog called CiscoPro Solutions Product Catalog. For more information on the CiscoPro Solutions Product Catalog, see the section "CiscoPro" later in this catalog.

To determine which Cisco enterprise product---routers, communication servers, access servers, switches, concentrators, repeaters, adapters, cards, and software---best suits your needs and requirements, use this catalog as follows:

Part 2 describes the Cisco 7000 family of products---the Cisco 7000 series, the Cisco 7200 series, and Cisco 7500 series routers. Worksheets are provided to make it easy for you to customize and configure a system.

Part 3 describes the Cisco access products. Included in this section are the Cisco 4000 series; Cisco 2500 series; access servers, including the Cisco AS5100 and Cisco AS5200; Cisco 1000 series; Cisco 760 series; Cisco 200 series, and the AccessPro PC cards.

Part 4 describes Cisco's ATM products: StrataCom products, Cisco LightStream 2020, and the Cisco LightStream 1010.

Part 5 describes the Cisco workgroup products. Included in this section are the Catalyst 5000 switching system, Catalyst 3000 series switches, Catalyst 2900 switch, Catalyst 2820 Ethernet switch, Catalyst 2600 Token Ring switch, Catalyst 1900 Ethernet switch, Catalyst 1800 Token Ring switch, Catalyst 1200 series workgroup switch, Catalyst 1600 Token Ring switch, Fast Hub 100+ and FastHub 100 hubs, the WS-C1400 CDDI/FDDI concentrator, and the workgroup adapter products.

Part 6 describes the Internet products, which include the Cisco Server Suite 1000, Cisco DNS/DHCP Manager, Cisco MultiNet for OpenVMS, Cisco Secure/IP for OpenVMS, Cisco TCP/IP Suite 100, Cisco TCP/IP Stack 100, Cisco Web Server, Cisco IPeXchange Internet Gateways, IPeXchange 1000 series, Cisco PIX Firewall, Cisco LocalDirector, and Cisco DistributedDirector.
