Audience

The primary audience for this document is customers who have purchased or are considering the purchase of an LS2020 switch. The secondary audience includes Cisco Systems employees and partner companies who need information about setting up LS2020 hardware.

Document Organization

This manual contains the following elements:

• Chapter 1, "Site Preparation," tells you how to prepare your site for installing an LS2020 switch.
  

• Chapter 2, "Network Management System Requirements," describes hardware and software requirements for using the network management station (NMS).
  

• Chapter 3, "Connectors and Cables," describes the LS2020 access cards, associated data cables, and power cordsets.
