MIB Trap and Trap Descriptions
The Cisco Hub/Ring Manager for Windows SNMP agent supports standard MIB II as well as several private MIBs to enable network management at different levels. The following MIBs and traps are supported. These files are in the \MIBS subdirectory.
The following is a list of MIB Group descriptions:
- star-sys.mib---Lists the private MIB for general system variables.
- star-sv.mib---Private MIB for Cisco Hub/Ring Manager for Windows.
- star-et.mib---Private MIB that enables RMON-like management of local and remote Ethernet networks.
- star-rm.mib---Private MIB that enables RMON-like management of local and remote Token Ring networks.
- star-bm.mib---Private MIB that acts as a proxy agent for managing non-SNMP source-routing bridges over LLC.
- star-al.mib---Private MIB for managing the alerts, or traps, sent by the Cisco Hub/Ring Manager for Windows SNMP agent.
This section lists the trap groups supporting Cisco Hub/Ring Manager for Windows.
- star-sv.trp---Private TRP for Cisco router/hub management.
- star-et.trp---Private TRP that enables RMON-like management of local and remote Ethernet networks.
- star-rm.trp---Private TRP that enables RMON-like management of local and remote Token Ring networks.
- star-bm.trp---Private TRP for managing source-routing bridges over LLC.
