IndiZone is the creation of
ISD Tech Marketing at Silicon
Graphics. Originally conceived in 1992, IndiZone is an ongoing games contest
sponsored by Tech Marketing and designed to permit all of SGI's customers
worldwide to write code and submit it to the contest in order to compete
for valuable prizes.
All finalists in the contest
were also bundled on the IndiZone Games CD, which shipped out on new
Indigo2 XL workstations and new
Indy workstations. Since its conception, IndiZone has gone through two seperate contests, known as IndiZone, and IndiZone2. Currently the IndiZone Project has over 500 customers signed up for more information about future incarnations of the IndiZone contest.
Many of you are by now wondering, "Okay, so where can I get my hands on one of these cool CDs, if not both?". We're setting up a system by which you can get your hands on this nifty software; please be patient, and keep an eye on this home page for announcements concerning how you can get copies of the software. New information will be added to the top of this page.
