Height c 48 cm

This is one of a series of vases which are intended to give the appearance of having been resurrected from the bottom of the sea. 

The greeny sea tones are from copper slip dipped in a cobalt blue dry glaze and magnesium dioxide brushed on to the modelled parts. Both were heavily wiped back then a clear glaze was brushed on and again  wiped back. It was fired in reduction to 1200ºC.
