Height c 30 cm

This pot was made from slabs of Keanne's white raku clay and decorated with sprigs made in a plaster mould, then painted with copper slip and bisque fired in an electric kiln to 1000 C.

The inside  was glazed with a clear glaze. The outside was dipped in a cobalt blue dry glaze and manganese dioxide brushed on to the sprigging. Both were heavily wiped back then a clear glaze was brushed on and again  wiped back. It was fired in reduction to 1200ºC.

The result was lovely green coppery tones with hints of red.
