Cisco 200 Series

Cisco 200 Series

Product Overview

Cisco 200 series remote node access products support remote access to enterprise networks and the Internet over ISDN lines. Cisco 200 series combine software and an adapter in a complete, affordable package that delivers high-speed ISDN connectivity for individual PC users. The Cisco 200 series includes the Cisco 201, Cisco 202, Cisco 210, and Cisco 250 products.

The Cisco 200 series includes native network driver interface specification (NDIS) support for Windows 95 PCs, as well as PCMCIA adapter cards for users of notebook computers. New software features have also been added to the product, providing performance and usability benefits to remote node users.

Under Windows 95, Cisco 200 series remote node access software features the ISDN Connection Manager, a user-friendly connection monitoring tool that can also be used to modify session configurations or create new ones. ISDN connection status can be monitored, and call logs viewed. ISDN call accounting information is also readily available.

The Cisco 210 supports the plug-and-play standard for intelligent hardware installation and configuration. The Cisco 210-S is functionally equivalent to the Cisco 201; the Cisco 210-U has the same features as the Cisco 202.
