The purpose of this guide is to familiarize you with the AS5200 Manager application and its online help system.
The AS5200 Manager is a software application that includes modem management, and enables you to remotely view, monitor, configure, and troubleshoot the Cisco AS5200 Universal Access Server.
The AS5200 Manager is accessed from within both the CiscoView and CiscoWorks Windows network management applications. The AS5200 Manager is supported on the many platforms listed in the ReadMe file. For details on system and software requirements, see Chapter 2, "Installing on a UNIX Workstation, " or see Chapter 3, "Installing on a PC."
Release 2.0 includes bug fixes, support for additional network management platforms and operating systems, and support for the channelized E1/PRI (Primary Rate Interface) card. See the ReadMe file for details on the network management platforms and operating systems.
